How the first visit works
Call us
Tell us your child's age and insurance or Medicaid plan. We text you the forms.
Fill in the forms
Health history and consent take about ten minutes on your phone. Bring your insurance card.
The first visit
We check each tooth and clean if your child is ready. First visits take 30 to 45 minutes.
A plan you can read
Before you leave, we go over what we found. Any treatment and its cost come in writing first.

Your child's first visit
Talk about the visit in calm, plain words at home. Say we will count your teeth, and skip words like shot or hurt. A favorite toy is welcome in the chair.
Toddlers get a knee to knee exam on your lap. Older children see each tool first and try the mirror and the water spray.
If your child needs a filling, we usually book it for another day, so the first visit stays easy.

Can a grandparent bring my child?
Yes, with a signed consent form from a parent or legal guardian on file.
